This is my try on the new Tau miniature, cadre fireblade. The best mini in my opinion from the new tau range. Color scheme inspired by Tau Farsight Enclave.
@Dokk I used: for red - macharite red, mephiston red, midlund flesh then used some purple glazes. for grey i used Trollblood highlight, space wolves grey and white also some browns and black to create shadows. flesh is done using shadow grey and ultramarine blue mix highlighted with space wolves grey. For cloak i used thamar balck and coal black paints from P3
I absolutely love your paint scheme on this model it has inspired me to create an army following it. Do you remember what colors you used for the yellow/gold?
Saw this on the Eavy Metal Facebook page and really liked it. Nice colour scheme and it looks like a fun model to paint.

Yeah it was really pleasant to paint, new plastic models from GW have the sharpness not available in finecast.
ReplyDeleteI've been going back again and again to look at this model on GW.com! Great work... Any chance on a rough outline of what colors you used on this?
